Please be advised that as part of the upcoming ownership change of the Ortman Fluid Power line of products (“Ortman”), the new owner will begin on March 18th to physically move operations to a new facility. In order to conduct an inventory and prepare the machinery to be relocated, there will be an expected production shut down period.

Following are the projected transition dates:

• Standard Ortman cylinder orders received by March 11th will be processed for shipment prior to the move on March 25th. Please call to confirm an estimated ship date upon placing your order.
• Kit orders received by March 18th will also be processed for shipment prior to the move on March 25th. Again, please confirm an estimated ship date upon order placement.
• Orders received after these dates will be subject to a shipping date after the new facility is operational.

To minimize impact on customers, Lehigh Fluid Power, Inc. will be working with Ortman’s existing personnel to provide cylinders during this transition period. If you need assistance prior to March 25th, please contact David Yochum at (217) 277-0321. Thereafter, all inquiries should be directed to David Sims at (800) 257-9515, Lehigh’s interim contact. Ortman expects to have sales personnel relocated and able to assist customers on March 26th.

Additionally, until the transition is complete, Ortman will continue to use the same email addresses, website, phone and fax numbers. Ortman’s new physical address will be:

Quincy Compressor LLC, announces a definitive agreement to divest its assets in Ortman Fluid Power to Lehigh Fluid Power, Inc. The sale is expected to close during the first quarter of 2015.

This exciting news offers tremendous opportunities for customers of Lehigh and Ortman who will now have access to a wider range of products and a broader national network of cylinder experts and distribution.

Ortman Fluid Power will continue to be headquartered and manufacture products in Quincy IL, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lehigh Fluid Power, Inc. With this change, much of the day-to-day business will continue uninterrupted and as usual.
